New York, NY - Roadrunner Records is proud to announce 2008 Grammy Awards nominations for two of its marquee artists. Multi-platinum rockers Nickelback have been nominated in the category of Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals for "If Everyone Cared" from the seven-times platinum album All The Right Reasons, in company with Daughtry, Green Day, U2 and The White Stripes.
All proceeds from the digital single and video sales of "If Everyone Cared" between February 1 and July 31, 2007 were donated to charity, equally distributed between Amnesty International and International Childrens' Awareness Canada. Over 800,000 digital singles and 25,000 digital videos were sold during the six-month period of the humanitarian campaign. The track also reached #1 on the Hot AC chart and Top 10 at Pop. Nickelback's Mike Kroeger comments, "We are thrilled to receive a Grammy nomination, especially for ‘If Everyone Cared.' This song means a lot to the band. It carries a strong message that we feel very passionate about, and we are glad that has been recognized."
А если граммофон отдадут кому-нить другому в этой номинации, это будет полнейший бред на мой взгляд...ну поживем-увидим, и болеем за наших.
А то знаете как с Оскаром бывает каждый год - они пишут и рекламируют в одно время, а показывают на дент позже. Так что я думаю не нужно сильно обнадеживаться и на счет Грэмми. Наши как всегда отличатся... :evil:
GRAMMY покажут именно 11 февраля, и ни на день позже=))) даже на оф. сайте Первого канала это написано и анонсировано во всех телепрограммах=))) единственное что, мы скорее всего не посмотрим её целиком, потому что для Москвы и области трансляция будет до 1.40=(((
